For each download of this track, written & produced by Pete York, half of the proceeds made will go towards the J.O.Y Music Academy to buy instruments and accessories for children desperate to learn music.

The J.O.Y music academy is a company founded  by Pete York where teaching music across the UK and around the world in primary and secondary schools is at the forefront of his mission, currently having over 120 young children learning to play an instrument and this number is rising every month.

When the academy starts teaching in every new school they begin by teaching in groups of 7, which means supplying 7 new guitars, guitar bags, plectrums, capos, music books, and of course the music teacher, this is all needed for each child to trial out on, once the child knows they would like to continue then parents are encouraged to buy their child a guitar so they can practice and play at home, some parents find it difficult to budget for this.

Most schools do not have a budget for arts and music, meaning the J.O.Y academy have to source and pay for all the equipment for each child to learn on.

Parents pay for their child's lesson in full per term and although it can be affordable for most parents, we do have children approaching us in schools wanting to learn but don't have the funds at home, this does not sit well with us, 

                                  EVERY CHILD 

should have the opportunity to learn an instrument.........

If the J.O.Y music academy can supply a pot of money from all album & single sales then they can welcome in children from all walks of life, if parents are unable to pay for their child's lesson's then this pot of money will be used to teach those that are keen to learn.
